The Collector Bug

Do you have the collectors bug?   Well, I know I certainly do!  I have been collecting stuff since I was a kid.  I started off with unicorns; oh fudge that may just give my age away.   As I got a little older my collectibles matured and grew.  I have always been drawn to items from the 1940's and 1950's.  Maybe you have this affliction, too!  I went to an estate sale about 20 years ago and pulled some great items out of the spice cabinet and so my 1940's kitchen collection started and grew into tins, depression  glass, figural mugs, yellow ware and much more.  When I see a unique item at a great prices it always seems to find its way into my hands.

I also collect vintage seasonal and folk art items; I have something for every major holiday.  Besides garage sales and auctions, eBay can also be a wonderful place to find the items you collect.

Here are just a few pictures of my collections and how I display them.
