About Me:

MostlyBaskets is family owned and operated, having been in the retail basket business for 30 years. Over the years we have been asked to open a Web Site........

Well here it is! Many of you have visited other Basket Web Sites and realize how impossible it would be to include everything in this first Site.

We have tried to choose some of our favorite Baskets and Basket Lamps, and we look forward to sending updates with all our new items.

We hope you enjoy our Web Site and we would like to thank everyone who has encouraged us to get on and do it! For those who have never seen our Baskets and Lamps we hope you will spend some time rambling through our site and watching for new up dates.

Our Supply Web Site is OPEN!!!

Check it out for all your Weaving Needs. This Site also carries Homespun Fabric, Black Walnut Hull Dye, & Twisted Seagrass.

How To Care For Your Baskets

As Basket Makers we all know how to care for our baskets but here are a few tips if you are not sure:
  • Keep baskets away from excessive light, may cause fading
  • Avoid high humidity areas, like basements, it can cause mold on your baskets
  • Do not display them near a wood stove or in the Kitchen area: drying out and grease can collect on them
  • Occasionally dust them using a soft stiff brush or a vacuum nozzle
  • Be sure your hands are clean and free from lotion when handling them.
 With that all said, Enjoy!
